About Woodbine Station

The story of Woodbine Station goes back to the early 1970’s, when Arnold Guest, Jr., of Guest Enterprises pursued his dream of turning this tract of land into a subdivision of varied home styles and lovely, natural wooded lots. The neighborhood was named for a climbing honeysuckle vine indigenous to the area that grows well in all kinds of weather, even during drought season [which explains why it thrives here in Georgia]. You may find the vine growing on your lot even now. The first homes sold for $35,000 to $40,000, and in the fall of 1972 the first homes were occupied. The rest, as they say, is history.
